Have you ever had one of those moments when the stars aligned and you thought…I gotta do this?! Well, that’s why I’m here. I’ve spent time in administrative positions, sales, and, most recently, 8+ years in the training industry. While I enjoyed those jobs, my passion has always been the creative arts. So, I thought, why not combine all these skills into one job where I can help others achieve their initiatives?

I’ve always had a knack for art and design which I refined during my time taking interior design at Algonquin College. Understanding negative space (unused areas around a graphic or webpage) as well as the use of positive space (space with graphics or writing) can be applied in so many ways – photography, graphic design, web design, and even writing (in a more abstract way). The design course also helped me recognize effective colour and texture combinations. Bringing out texture is one of the things I love best about photography!

Writing has also long been a part of my life. I took playwrighting in university as part of my BA in drama, but have applied it more recently in blog writing, newsletters, social media and web content. Although business and creative writing seem to be at opposite ends of the literary spectrum, creativity is the key to inspiring the soul and making connections.

Speaking of making connections! I want to meet you! The human element is wonderful and exciting, and part of the reason I’m doing this. I can’t wait to work with you and learn about your company and your goals! 🍂
